v2.1.0 · 9/4/26
  • Bug fixes. Changing a row's effect now clears only the locks on that row's two pots; locks on the other rows keep playing, and the two-button mute still clears everything. At 24 PPQN a busy frame no longer drops clock pulses, so Chopper, Beat Repeat, and a synced Echo stop wobbling or hunting for tempo. Pot input is filtered, so parameters no longer jitter with converter noise at idle.
  • Parameter locks arm on the first touch. Recording starts after half a percent of travel instead of three, anchored where the knob sat. The pip at the bottom of the ring is solid red while recording and blinks red during playback, as the manual describes.
  • Built on Alchemy SDK 0.11.0.

  • Build your own rack. Each of the three rows can now be actively defined.
  • Every effect opens up. Beyond depth and parameter, each effect exposes its own controls: filter slopes and drive, feedback ceilings, grid divisions and swing, tone and dither. Set them in the browser and they travel with a preset. Make sure to save to a preset slot!
  • Interactive manual. Spagyros documents itself in the programmer and at its own manual page, replacing the hand-drawn panel guide.
  • Settings on the panel. Hold B2 and B3 for two seconds for brightness, preset slot, and save or load.
  • Clipping light. Rebuilt on the SDK's indicator. Brief peaks no longer trip it; it lights when the input is actually clipping.
  • This is a major version.
v1.1.0 · 7/22/26
  • Record to SD card. Hold B3 for about a second to start recording the module's final stereo output to the SD card as a WAV file. B3 blinks red while a take is running. Hold B3 again to stop. Files land at the card root as REC0001.WAV, REC0002.WAV, and so on. The card must be FAT32-formatted.
